Day 86 Theme Thursday

Todays Theme is experimental So I decided to have a crack at snapping drips of water. I managed to get a well placed drip and using manual setting focused on a pencil to start and then snapped away trying my flash on a number of setting and angles until I got the desired amount of light. Here is a couple of the best ones. although it wasn't till after I'd packed up to review my shots I found I wasnt quite focused on where I needed to be to get the crown effect. Next time I review my work more thoroughly before packing up .

Day 77-83 Catch up

Ok first I need to let you know where I've been, MY Pc died last week and worst of all i had a hard drive failure and I lost 150gb of photos from the last 5 years so between sulking and moaning I did take some pictures each day but it didn't lift my spirits much. so 365ers what have we learned from this BACK UP your photos !!! Still enjoy these ! We spent most of the weekend at Papermill Lock We went to a birthday Party on friday Night and then went back Saturday to pick up the car and as the weather was nice went down again Sunday to walk along the River.
The Earlier Part of the week was dedicated to the robins, the chick are getting big now so hopefully will be around when they fly the nest !

Day 75 _ Mr Robin

I set up my camera on my gorilla pod wrapped around a beam in the shed and then using my remote set 30 shot with a 5 second interval. Everytime I saw a visitor I'd sneak over and pressed the button I got about 200 snaps but this was one of the best ! unfortuatly i didnt get the one of mum or dad actually feeding the chicks but I still have about a week to nail it so will try again tomorrow.

Day 72 Theme Thursday Negative Space

Here is my crack at Negative Space, Once I'd read up on it seemed I was already there with Tuesdays effort. I was hoping to get one of the layers to reverve to make the shot symetrical but CS4 kept flipping both ???? Given up tonight but will upload with the final image once Ive sussed it out, EnjoyThis is what I was after seemed the best thing to do was flatten the layers and then free tramform I half ! Perfect !

Day 71 The Tree

This is Wednsdays Picture , Late posting , got in late from work and didn't even get the memory card out of my camera... Used autobracketing to create the HDr then ran it through HDR dynamic.. great HDR software in my book ! Still couldn't decide between the colour and monchrome, you decide :¬)

Day 69 Untitled

2 images today I was feeling uninspired but decided to have a play with my flash and see what I could do, after I bit of playing I decided on these 2. whilst the first is a little over exposed I loved the way it created a feeling of emptiness around the figurines. I tweaked it a little in photshop to bring more contrast . The second one I like the symmetry, I might do a series of these create a montage.
