Day35 - Rings

Man, What a hectic weekend, normally I can set aside an hours or two for some photo fun but this weekend it just didn't happen. This was literally a quick 5 min set up and shoot of some curtain rings, I had just finished hanging the rail and it struck me they might make an interesting photo. I was pleased with the end result considering , but I'm sure with a revisit I can improve on it. The only post processing was to crop the image to give it cleaner lines.

Day 34 - Balls

Something a little abstract today, I intended to revisit this as I ran out of time and didn't quite get the end result I wanted. Here is the best one.

Here's Tanith just on her way out , as with most teenagers she does take much encouragement for a quick pose and is always a willing subject. Which is a great oppotunity for me to practice my portraits.

Day32 - Numbers for Tasras Twitter Challenge

Numbers for Tasra's Twitter Challenge, I was going to do a montage of a number of shots but decided on this one in the end.

day 31 Hound

Had some Ideas of what I was after today but really wasn't overawed by the results, so will try again, however among my project pictures I took a few shots of my basset hound lady and decided this would be shot of the day.

day 30 Rain

Raining.........Again, however I did find this ridge which gave me a great chance to snap some water droplets. this was my favorite .

I added a blue filter and cropped it to give it cleaner lines.

Day 29 - Strollin

My Nephew Zabe Whom I promised to buy A windmill for before we left the seaside.

Other that tweaking the colours to sharpen the image I didn't think it needed anything else.

Day 28 - Gulls

I liked this shot as it captured the different forms of the gulls in flight.

I cropped the shot and sharped a little.

Day 27 - Lobster Pots

Maybe a little cliche but I was pleased with the end result.

The orignal was over exposed but when your with a group that just don't get photography you've got to shoot and run ! I droped the temperature from the RAW into photoshop and salvaged the exposure then after deciding the black and white really complemented the shot I added a highpass overlay.

Took Manny out today for a trip to the graveyard I tried to tell him he wouldn't be strong enough to right it but he did try !

Project 365 - Day 24

Tree Hugger, Dave and I both purchased one these manaquinns and we talked about different poses and I thought this might look quite good . We were going to go out at lunchtime but I had another appointment so couldn't make it but here is my version. I've tweaked the colours which I think make it pop and added a vignette.

Splash, raining AGAIN...... Saw this through my window and couldnt resist having a go at capturing the chaos, took about 50 shots before I went to work. no post processing on this and like the overall affect of the natural droplets . Going to try it again weather permitting but get my angle lower.

Logs, well actually it a garden ornament a heart made of these little rounds, I did a highpass overlay and sharped the result.
